Infinity Shares - The Review

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007

We’ve really came to a point where we make fun of each other from time to time in Infinity Shares yes? I’ll be impartial and straight to the point for this program.

Infinity Shares returns come from..

Forex. You might be thinking, *UH NO, NOT ANOTHER RUN IN THE MILL HYIP THAT CLAIMS TO DO FOREX FOR RETURNS AGAIN?!* I’d stop you for a moment.

I’ve been doing a lot of research, studies and even into the subject of trading demos for more than half a year. There’s not many financial instruments that come close to generating absurd high returns like forex (on the flip side, you can get burnt pretty badly at a even faster alarming rate than generating profits too).

One of our readers has sent me their DD package as they’ve heard Jude da man has been dealing with Due Diligence stuff for a long time and they like reading my stuffs, so they dropped the bomb on me. In the package, it consists of

- Christian’s very blurry scanned passport (The screwed up scanner)

- Steven’s scanned passport (Alarming)

- Steven and Christian’s numbers

- Broker’s setup page and passwords (With the passwords cut out, wonder why did they sent that, lol)

Well this DD package isn’t enough to satisfy the personal information verified, so I’ve requested more to gear towards a better verification.

The two clowns at Infinity Shares (Christian Te and Steven Ey*) first struck me to be very very fun people to talk to, and gives you the impression as in they have nothing to hide when it comes to running this pool. *So since they’re being so clowns? How exactly are you gonna trust them with your money? We’ll come to that later as well.

Personal verifications for Christian Te

We have an additional copy of Chris’s phone bill for his house, and I did a call to verify his existence with a porn.. oops web cam aimed at him. The face is being mosaic.

A clearer scan of his passport was being provided, as well as web cam being aimed at him to look and match closely (Kinda like Life Holdings Dan’s verification, except Chris’s web cam suck more than Dan’s)

He’s a pompy nice fellow that has problems with his ear!

Personal verification of Steve Ey*

We haven’t done anything with Steve and it will come as another installment in the review of Infinity Shares.

Steve, in all his kindness has sent me a copy of signatures and a mutual agreement signed by all shareholders of Infinity Shares, with Steve being the boss who has the largest share in the program followed by Christian.

A session with the traders

I’ve asked many questions with regards to what kind of traders are they (this ran passed me as I think of the aftermath of FX-Experts, to learn more about forex before conducting any sort of review) and what kind of risk exposure they are doing for their clients.

They work with news, and they trade on news as you can see on their blog. I’ve learn things and seen a copy of Chris’s analysis before the news forecast is actually reporting the figures to Steve.

On the 5th of January, I’ve logged onto Chris as well as Steve’s computer via a remote software to take a look on their broker statements. And Steve showed me on the results of their trading on US release of Non-farm Payroll statistics. Sweet gains, which is being reported on their blog entry.

Here we have their broker as well as their account statement verified as well.

When we’re conferencing via Yahoo IM, what struck me was a very different toned Chris and Steve when it comes to work. Very different from their usual clown personality I say. Professional, so there shouldn’t be any doubts in their work. I have requested special permissions from them to let me check their sessions, in line with their trades to learn, as well as a time to time basis remote login to their terminals to audit the statements. They agreed.

Leverage used

I’ve asked Chris to explain in his own words of his 8:1 ratio and 50% exposure trading with investors money.

Christian Te: for easier computations sake

Christian Te: now we have $20,000 in our account

Christian Te: (sample only)

Christian Te: if we leverage that 8:1, we could trade with $160,000 worth (1.6) lots

Christian Te: if we expose 50% of that account and use it for leverage, we’d be trading 80,000 valued lots (0.8 lots)

Christian Te: simplified explanation

Christian Te: that’s our “standard” approach, we use half of that approach for tech trades, and up to 12:1 leverage for those trades that we see are “cut and dry”/safe

The Upsides.

I’ll be short on this as we’ll be keeping tab of our reviews with all the programs and will update when deem fit.

- Professional. There’s no doubt that they know what they are doing

- Transparent. More transparent than any forex programs that you can find. Screw NSFG’s transparency :)

- Fun. They love what they’re doing, and you will have to agree with me, you got to find someone who loves to bag pips in forex for your investment to pull off.

- Unique. Share system, which Chris explains in our interview with him on how it works.

The Downside

- It’s done in Euros and not Dollar. The reason is that the broker is based in Europe and it makes their job easier when they receive the gold in Euros.

- It’s expensive when you have to foot administrative costs for your funds to be out exchanged to cash for the broker and to be exchanged back to E-gold again for payouts.

- Since it’s a share system calculations, we’ll have to trust Chris and Steve’s calculations in the profits to be paid out to the investors. (It’s a plus as well as a negative point, double edge sword)

Verdict

Weirdly, for all I know. Usually people who approach me for reviews are rejected and I only do reviews for those that I see potential in. Then again don’t trust my views too much and do your own specific studies. My funds will be in. 2007 is a good year to start with, with Infinity Shares as well as Dan’s Life Holdings in the portfolio.

Past performance does not guarantee future performances. I want you guys to understand that even with good track records of Infinity Shares, the past performance doesn’t guarantee future results. Look at FXE, NSFG. They came crashing like nobody’s business.
